The Plus500 City Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, 16th November 2025.
Start timings for the race:
All distances for the Plus500 City Half Marathon will follow a scenic route around DIFC. The course will be well-marked, traffic-free, and supported by Dubai Police, the Dubai Road Traffic Authority, and our event marshals. Designated crossing points will be managed to allow motorists to cross safely while ensuring a secure and enjoyable running experience for all participants

With the increase in participants this year, we highly recommend arriving by taxi or limousine and getting dropped off at Emirates Towers Metro Station. From there, it’s just a 200m walk to the start line — the most convenient and comfortable way to arrive. Please note that the metro will be operational by the time the event concludes, making it an easy option for your return journey.
If you are coming by car, there is event parking available at Gate District 4 (GD4) . Please ensure that you arrive at the parking by 06:15 AM. Please follow the instructions of the event marshals, who will direct you to the designated parking area. Parking in “Reserved Spaces” is prohibited and may result in fines issued from the venue management.

Additionally, RTA public parking is free on Sundays, offering more parking options around the DIFC area. Please also note that the metro does not operate early in the morning on race day.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of your race.
The Plus500 City Half Marathon will both start and finish in front of the iconic Gate Building, situated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)

You are required to start in the distance category you registered for.
The route will be completely traffic-free and clearly marked to ensure you have the best possible running experience.
Event staff will be stationed throughout the course, so if you need any assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of them.
The Plus500 City Half Marathon is organized with the support of Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Police, and the RTA. Participants in the 21km race must complete the distance within 2 hours and 45 minutes. Any runners who have not begun their final lap by 8:30 AM will be directed to the finish line.

Yes, all runners will be provided with refreshments. F&B outlets in DIFC will also be open.
Yes, water will be available for all runners at the start area. Water stations are strategically placed along the route to ensure ample hydration opportunities.
Water is also provided for all runners after they cross the finish line. Feel free to bring your own water or use a hydration pack if you wish to.
Yes, bag drop facilities are available near the start/finish area. Only leave essential items—organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damage to items left in the baggage area.
Yes, medical personnel and ambulances will be present at the event. Contact a marshal if you need assistance.
The confirmation email is sent once you successfully submit and pay for your registration online. If you successfully registered but didn’t receive a confirmation email, contact us at sports@promosevensports.com with your order details.
