The Expo City Dubai Half Marathon brought Dubai together in a powerful celebration of community, diversity and shared passion for running. Race pack collection will take place on three days:

A friend, relative or colleague is allowed to pick up a race pack on your behalf.
Please note that race pack collection on event day will close 30 minutes before the start of your race distance.
We strongly recommend collecting your race pack on Day 1 & Day 2 to ensure a smooth race day experience. If you plan to collect on event day, please arrive at least 60 minutes before your race start time.

All race distances will follow a scenic route around Expo City Dubai, featuring landmarks like the World Pavilions, Al Wasl Dome. The course is traffic-free, well-marked, and supported by Dubai Police, the Dubai Road Traffic Authority, and event marshals. Designated crossing points will be carefully managed to allow motorists to pass safely, while ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all runners.

The event village is located near Surreal. Follow the signs and instructions from marshals to reach the venue from the parking. The race starts and finishes near Surreal in Expo City Dubai 2020.

The Expo City Dubai Half Marathon is organized with the support of Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Police and RTA. Entrants in the 21km event must be able to complete the full distance within 3 hours.
Runners who have not passed the 12.5km mark by 8:00am will be directed to the finish line.
Your hard work will be rewarded! Every participant who completes their race distance will receive an Expo City Dubai Half Marathon finisher medal. In addition, each participant will also receive an official souvenir T-shirt, a bib, refreshments, and an online certificate.
Yes, water will be available for all runners at the start area. Water stations are strategically placed along the route to ensure ample hydration opportunities. The water stations points in the race routes have been mentioned below:
Water is also provided for all runners after they cross the finish line. Feel free to bring your own water or use a hydration pack if you wish to
Yes, bag drop facilities are available near the start/finish area. Only leave essential items—organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damage to items left in the baggage area.
Yes, medical personnel and ambulances will be present at the event. Contact a marshal if you need assistance.
