All race distances will follow a scenic route around Expo City Dubai, featuring landmarks like the World Pavilions, Al Wasl Dome, Expo Mall, and the Expo Village Residences. The course is traffic-free, well-marked, and supported by Dubai Police, the Dubai Road Traffic Authority, and event marshals. Designated crossing points will be carefully managed to allow motorists to pass safely, while ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all runners.

Race pack collection will be on race day, 19th January 2025, at the event village in Al Forsan Park from 05:30. 

Collection closes 15 minutes before the start of your race. Please arrive at least 60 minutes before your race start time.

• 21km: 16 years and above
• 10km: 10 years and above
• 5km: 6 years and above

The designated event parking will be at "Opportunity Parking", which is accessible from E77 Expo Road and marked with orange.

The event village is located at Al Forsan Park, near the Opportunity Parking. Follow the signs and instructions from marshals to reach the venue. The race starts and finishes near Al Forsan Park in Expo City Dubai 2020.

Jump on one of our complimentary buses departing from three locations (Dubai Marina, Dubai Mall and Burjuman) for the trip to Expo City Dubai.

The Expo City Dubai Half Marathon is organized with the support of Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Police and RTA. Entrants in the 21km event must be able to complete the full distance within 2 hours and 30 minutes. Runners who have not passed the 15km mark by 9:30am will be directed to the finish line

Yes, water will be available for all runners at the start area. Water stations are strategically placed along the route to ensure ample hydration opportunities. The water stations points in the race routes have been mentioned below: 

• 21KM route - 3.5km, 6.8km, 8.5km, 10.5km, 14km, and 18.5km
• 10KM route - 3.5km and 7.5km
• 5KM route - 2.2km

Water is also provided for all runners after they cross the finish line.  Feel free to bring your own water or use a hydration pack if you wish to.

We have baggage drop facilities available near the start and finish area. Please note that we recommend only leaving essential items and valuables. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damage to items left in the baggage area.

Your hard work will be rewarded! Every participant who completes their race distance will receive an Expo City Dubai Half Marathon finisher medal. In addition, each participant will also receive an official souvenir T-shirt, a bib, refreshments, and an online certificate

Yes, ambulances and medical personnel will be present at the event. Contact a marshal if you need assistance.
