Experience the captivating City Half Marathon at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, as you navigate a scenic 5km loop along the picturesque waterfront, passing by the iconic Etihad Arena. Whether you opt for the 5km, 10km, or the challenging 21km half marathon, the route offers delightful attractions and a secure environment. Clear markers and no traffic concerns enhance the safety of the course. Dedicated event marshals are strategically stationed to assist with crossing points, prioritizing your safety during the run.

PLEASE NOTE ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE 21KM DISTANCE CATEGORY ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AN ADDITIONAL SHORT LOOP DURING THEIR FIRST LAP.

Where do I collect my race pack?

Race pack collection will be on the day of the race on Sunday, 13th April 2025 at the event village from 04:30 am.

Race pack collection closes 10 minutes before the start of your race.

What is the minimum age to run at the City Half Marathon at Yas Island?

Participants must be at least 16 years old to participate in the 21km race of the City Half Marathon at Yas Island.

10km the minimum age requirement is 10 years and above.

5km race is 6 years and above.

Coming from Dubai?

Jump on one of our complimentary buses departing from three locations (Dubai Marina, Dubai Mall and Burjuman) for the trip to Yas Island.

Can I change the distance on the day?

You must start in the distance that you have entered.

Out on the race route?

The route will be traffic-free and will be well sign posted to ensure that you can have the most enjoyable run possible.

Event staff will be located across the race route. If you need any assistance while on the route, please alert one of the staff members

Will there be bag drop facilities?

We have baggage drop facilities available near the start and finish area. Please note that we recommend only leaving essential items and valuables. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damage to items left in the baggage area.

Do I get a medal and T-shirt?

Yes, your hard work will be rewarded! Everyone who finishes their race distance will receive a City Half Marathon at Yas Island finisher medal and an official souvenir T-shirt. Please take the T-shirt size that you requested when you register for the event.
