THE FIRST SPINNEYS DUBAI 92 CYCLE CHALLENGE OF THE SEASON IS AROUND THE CORNER

The cycling season is upon us once more and to kick things off is the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge’s first Build-Up Ride taking place on Friday 8th September at Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City - District One Cycling and Running Track, the official venue partner for the event.

Registration for the event closes on Monday 4th September and as the first event in the season, the 32.5km Build-Up Ride is the perfect platform for those new to the sport to be part of the cycling trend in Dubai, or for those that have been having a break from cycling during the hot summer to jump back on.

Organisers have added a twist to this year’s event, whereby cyclists can now win some great prizes thanks to Vittoria Wheels. Those accumulating the best time in all of the four Build-Up Rides and the main event will be in with a chance of winning.

The second Build-Up ride is taking place on 29th September 2017 covering 50km, followed by 65km on 20th October and 85km on 24th November -  at Al Qudra Cycle Path.

The popular Spinneys Dubai 92 Junior Rides are also back. The timed 2.5km, 15km and 30km rides are designed for 6 to 15 year-olds held at the Dubai Autodrome on Thursday 14th December. This is a great opportunity for younger ones to be part of the largest amateur cycling challenge and support the legacy of cycling in the UAE.
